Horse Riding

Horse Riding - Lartigue is just one of the equestrian centres nearby. Lessons or treks in the beautiful countryside are available.

Cycling

The Lot Valley is a cyclist's paradise.

Follow the Lot as it winds it's way through the valley and discover any number of beautiful, historic and picturesque places along the way.

More than 10000km of tarmac road is at your disposal, so you have plenty of leeway to plan your itinerary, explore places of interest, visit monuments, go through typical local villages or just watch the thousand and one different facets or the area roll gently by.

The area is ideal for both beginners and experienced cyclists. There are no high mountain passes but the ascent from valley to causse sometimes requires a good level of fitness.
The footpaths and tracks in the Lot are excellent for mountain biking.
You can hire bikes in several places including Cahors, Montcup and Prayssac.

Located in typical Quercy Blanc countryside, Roucous is a 9 hole golf course of 5783yds which winds through a wooded valley amoung water hazards. An interesting course for all standards. Roucous also offers a tennis court and swimming pool as well as driving range and putting-green. The comfortable club house holds a small bar, restaurant and pro-shop. Fishing

River, stream, and lake fishing is available.
Permits can be purchased in Montcuq.
"La Carte Vacances" allows 15 days of fishing between June and November (Aproximately €30 during 2008). Junior licences (under 16) are also available.Le guide de la pêche dans le Lot

Walking

Either do your own thing, and wander through mile after mile of beautiful, peaceful and sometimes dramatic countryside or, take a guide and join one of the many organised treks.

Canoeing
